Tax Internship – Summer 2028 – Destination CPA

About the role

As a Tax Intern you will join PwC’s Tax practice for the Summer 2028 term, gaining hands‑on exposure to global tax consulting. You will support teams in delivering tax advice, learn PwC methodologies and observe professional work environments while developing your personal brand.

Key responsibilities

• Support tax teams in delivering comprehensive tax advice and planning strategies.
• Participate in the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
• Assist in analysing complex tax regulations to optimise tax positions and minimise risks.
• Engage in international tax planning and multistate compliance activities.
• Conduct tax research to support consulting projects and propose innovative solutions.
• Collaborate on tax models and structures for clients.
• Contribute to the preparation of tax provisions and audit documentation.
• Apply data analytics to identify opportunities for tax optimisation and efficiency.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (preference for 3.5).
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state before starting full‑time.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.
