About the role

Join PwC's Tax practice as a Summer 2027 Tax Intern in Raleigh. You will gain hands‑on experience in tax consulting, supporting teams that deliver strategic advice, compliance solutions, and international tax planning for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Support tax teams in delivering comprehensive advice and planning strategies.
• Assist in the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
• Analyze complex tax regulations to optimize positions and minimize risks.
• Participate in international tax planning and multistate compliance activities.
• Conduct tax research and contribute innovative solutions to consulting projects.
• Help develop tax models, structures, and provisions for clients.
• Apply data‑analytics techniques to identify tax‑optimization opportunities.
• Observe and learn from experienced tax professionals to build personal development.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (preference for 3.5).
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.
