Join PwC’s Tax practice in Washington DC as a Winter 2028 Tax Intern. You will gain hands‑on experience in tax consulting, supporting teams that deliver tailored tax advice, compliance, and planning services to a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Support tax teams in delivering comprehensive tax advice and planning strategies.
• Assist in the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
• Analyze complex tax regulations to help optimize client tax positions and minimize risks.
• Participate in international tax planning and multistate compliance activities.
• Conduct tax research to support consulting projects and develop innovative solutions.
• Collaborate on building tax models and structures for client engagements.
• Help prepare tax provisions and assist with audit processes to ensure compliance.
• Observe and learn from experienced tax professionals to enhance personal development.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (preference for 3.5).
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting full‑time.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.
