Join PwC’s Tax practice in San Francisco as a Winter 2027 Tax Intern. You will gain hands‑on experience in tax consulting, supporting teams that deliver strategic tax advice, compliance, and planning for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Assist tax teams with the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and compliance documentation.
• Support analysis of complex tax regulations to help optimise client tax positions and reduce risk.
• Participate in international tax planning and multistate compliance activities.
• Conduct tax research and contribute to the development of innovative consulting solutions.
• Help develop tax models, structures, and provisions for client engagements.
• Apply data‑analytics techniques to identify opportunities for tax efficiency.
• Observe and learn from senior tax professionals to build technical knowledge.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (3.5 preferred).
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before transitioning to full‑time.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program at the time of application.
