Tax Intern – Winter 2027

About the role

As a Tax Intern for PwC in Philadelphia, you will join the Tax practice during the Winter 2027 term. You will support tax professionals in delivering advisory and compliance services, gaining hands‑on experience with corporate tax returns, international tax planning and data‑driven analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Support tax teams in delivering comprehensive tax advice and planning strategies.
• Participate in the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
• Assist in analyzing complex tax regulations to optimize tax positions and minimize risks.
• Engage in international tax planning and multistate tax compliance activities.
• Conduct tax research to support consulting projects and provide innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to develop tax models and structures for clients.
• Contribute to the preparation of tax provisions and audits to validate compliance.
• Observe and learn from experienced tax professionals to enhance personal development.
• Apply data analytics to identify opportunities for tax optimization and efficiency.
• Support the development of regulatory compliance consulting strategies for diverse industries.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting full‑time.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program at the time of application.
