About the role

Join PwC's Tax practice in Silicon Valley as a Summer 2028 Tax Intern. You will work alongside experienced tax professionals, gaining hands‑on exposure to corporate tax compliance, international tax planning, and data‑driven tax optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Support tax teams in delivering comprehensive tax advice and planning strategies.
• Assist in the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
• Analyze complex tax regulations to optimize tax positions and minimize risks.
• Participate in international tax planning and multistate compliance activities.
• Conduct tax research to support consulting projects and propose innovative solutions.
• Collaborate on developing tax models and structures for clients.
• Help prepare tax provisions and audit documentation to validate compliance.
• Observe and learn from senior tax professionals to enhance personal development.
• Apply data analytics to identify opportunities for tax optimization and efficiency.
• Support the development of regulatory compliance strategies for diverse industries.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (preference for 3.5).
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state before starting full‑time.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program at the time of application.
