About the role

Join PwC’s Tax practice in Phoenix as a Summer 2028 Tax Intern. You will gain hands‑on experience in tax consulting, supporting teams that deliver strategic advice, compliance services and risk mitigation for a variety of clients.

Key responsibilities

Assist tax teams in preparing corporate tax returns and compliance documentation.
Research and analyse complex tax regulations to help optimise client tax positions.
Support international and multistate tax planning activities.
Contribute to tax model development and data‑analytics projects.
Help prepare tax provisions, audit documentation and regulatory compliance strategies.
Observe and learn from senior tax professionals to build technical expertise.

Required profile

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (preference for 3.5).
Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting full‑time.
Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.
