Tax Intern – Summer 2028 – Miami

About the role

As a Tax Intern for the Summer 2028 program in Miami, you will join PwC’s Tax practice and gain hands‑on experience in corporate tax consulting. You will work alongside seasoned professionals, supporting the delivery of tax advice, compliance and planning services while developing a solid foundation for a career in tax.

Key responsibilities

• Assist tax teams in preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns and compliance documentation.
• Research and analyse complex tax regulations to help optimise client tax positions.
• Support international and multistate tax planning projects.
• Contribute to the development of tax models, structures and provisions.
• Perform tax research and data‑analytics tasks to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Collaborate with colleagues on audit and regulatory compliance engagements.
• Observe and learn from senior tax professionals to build technical expertise.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (3.5 preferred).
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.
