About the role

Join PwC’s Tax practice in Houston as a Summer 2028 Tax Intern. You will gain hands‑on experience in tax consulting, supporting teams that deliver tailored tax advice, compliance, and planning solutions for a variety of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist tax teams with the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and compliance documentation.
• Support analysis of complex tax regulations to help optimize client tax positions and reduce risk.
• Participate in international tax planning and multistate compliance activities.
• Conduct tax research and contribute to innovative consulting solutions.
• Help develop tax models, structures, and provisions for client engagements.
• Apply data‑analytics techniques to identify tax‑optimization opportunities.
• Observe and learn from senior tax professionals to build technical and professional skills.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (preference for 3.5).
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting full‑time.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.
