About the role

Join PwC's Tax practice in Denver as a Summer 2028 Tax Intern. You will gain hands‑on experience in tax consulting, supporting teams that deliver strategic advice, compliance, and optimization for a variety of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Support tax teams in delivering comprehensive tax advice and planning strategies.
• Participate in the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
• Assist in analyzing complex tax regulations to optimize positions and minimize risks.
• Engage in international tax planning and multistate compliance activities.
• Conduct tax research to support consulting projects and provide innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to develop tax models and structures for clients.
• Contribute to the preparation of tax provisions and audits to validate compliance.
• Observe and learn from experienced tax professionals to enhance personal development.
• Apply data analytics to identify opportunities for tax optimization and efficiency.
• Support the development of regulatory compliance consulting strategies for diverse industries.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (preference for 3.5).
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting full‑time.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program at time of application.
