About the role

As a Tax Intern at PwC in Cincinnati, you will join the Tax practice for the Summer 2028 term, gaining hands‑on experience in corporate tax compliance, international tax planning and consulting projects. You will work alongside experienced tax professionals, learning PwC’s methodologies while contributing to real client engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Support tax teams in delivering comprehensive tax advice and planning strategies.
• Assist in the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
• Research and analyze complex tax regulations to optimize client tax positions.
• Participate in international tax planning and multistate compliance activities.
• Develop tax models and structures under supervision.
• Contribute to tax provision calculations and audit support.
• Apply data‑analytics techniques to identify tax optimization opportunities.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (3.5 preferred).
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before transitioning to full‑time.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.
