Tax Intern – Summer 2028 (Baltimore)

About the role

As a Tax Intern at PwC in Baltimore, you will join the Tax practice for the Summer 2028 term. You will work alongside experienced tax professionals, supporting the delivery of tax consulting services to a variety of clients while gaining hands‑on experience in corporate tax compliance and planning.

Key responsibilities

• Assist tax teams in preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns and related compliance documents.
• Support analysis of complex tax regulations to help optimise client tax positions.
• Participate in international and multistate tax planning activities.
• Conduct tax research and contribute to the development of tax models and structures.
• Help prepare tax provisions, audit documentation and regulatory compliance strategies.
• Apply data‑analytics techniques to identify tax‑optimization opportunities.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (3.5 preferred).
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and research abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Basic understanding of tax concepts and regulations.
