Tax Counsel

About the role

As a Tax Counsel for Bosch North America, you will act as a strategic partner at the intersection of law, finance, and cross‑border commerce. You will shape tax strategy for high‑stakes mergers, acquisitions, and post‑merger integrations while ensuring compliance across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead tax aspects of M&A transactions in North America, including structuring for tax efficiency and managing tax due diligence.
• Draft, review, and negotiate tax provisions in M&A agreements.
• Provide general tax planning support to matrix business units.
• Support post‑acquisition integration, legal entity simplification, and permanent establishment reviews.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, treasury, HR, and external advisors on corporate transactions.
• Offer tax legal guidance on domestic and international issues, including commercial contract reviews.
• Assist with transfer pricing models, intercompany agreements, and defend positions in transfer pricing controversies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 3–5+ years of tax advisory experience in an accounting firm, law firm, or in‑house multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of corporate tax, international tax, transfer pricing, and cross‑border transactions.
