About the role

As a Tax Associate at PwC, you will support clients in navigating complex tax environments, delivering tailored tax services that optimize strategies and ensure compliance. You will work within the Tax practice, gaining exposure to corporate, partnership, and international tax matters while developing technical expertise and professional skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and filing corporate tax returns to meet compliance requirements.
• Support development of tax strategies to optimize positions and minimize risks.
• Conduct tax research and analysis on domestic and international tax matters.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver tailored tax consulting services across diverse industries.
• Engage in multistate tax compliance and reporting for jurisdictional obligations.
• Participate in preparation of tax provisions and modeling for financial reporting.
• Contribute to partnership tax return preparation and related documentation.
• Assist in developing tax structures and planning for international initiatives.
• Utilize data analytics to enhance tax compliance and reporting processes.
• Support regulatory compliance consulting to navigate complex tax regulations.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (preference for 3.5).
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting full‑time.
• Final academic year or recent graduate ready for an entry‑level client service associate role.
