About the role

As a Tax Associate at PwC in Atlanta, you will support the delivery of tailored tax services to help clients navigate complex global tax environments. You will join a collaborative team focused on optimizing tax strategies, minimizing risk, and enhancing client outcomes while building your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and filing corporate tax returns to meet compliance requirements.
• Support the development of tax strategies that optimize positions and reduce risk.
• Conduct tax research and analysis on domestic and international matters.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver customized tax consulting for various industries.
• Engage in multistate tax compliance and reporting to satisfy jurisdictional obligations.
• Participate in the preparation of tax provisions and financial reporting models.
• Contribute to partnership tax return preparation and related documentation.
• Utilize data analytics to improve tax compliance and reporting processes.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or having completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (preference for 3.5).
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting full‑time.
• Completion of the final academic year or equivalent educational requirements for an entry‑level client service associate role.
