About the role

PwC is seeking a Tax Associate to join its Washington DC office for the Summer/Fall 2027 period. In this entry‑level position you will support clients across a range of tax matters, helping them navigate complex domestic and international regulations while developing your own technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and filing corporate tax returns to ensure compliance.
• Support the development of tax strategies that optimize positions and reduce risk.
• Conduct tax research and analysis on both domestic and international issues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored tax consulting services.
• Participate in multistate tax compliance, reporting, and provision modeling.
• Contribute to partnership tax return preparation and related documentation.
• Help design tax structures for international planning initiatives.
• Utilize data analytics to improve compliance and reporting processes.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA; a 3.5 GPA is preferred.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment.
• Strong intellectual curiosity for tax consulting and planning.
