Tax Associate – Summer/Fall 2027

About the role

PwC is seeking a Tax Associate to join its Tax practice in Hartford for the Summer/Fall 2027 period. You will support client engagements, develop tax strategies, and gain hands‑on experience with corporate, partnership and international tax matters while building technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns.
• Support the development of tax strategies to optimize positions and reduce risk.
• Conduct tax research and analysis on domestic and international issues.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver tailored tax consulting services across industries.
• Engage in multistate tax compliance and reporting.
• Participate in the preparation of tax provisions, modeling, and partnership tax returns.
• Help develop tax structures for international planning initiatives.
• Utilize data analytics to improve compliance and reporting processes.
• Support regulatory compliance consulting.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (preference for 3.5).
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting full‑time.
• Entry‑level candidate in the final academic year or recent graduate.
