Tax Analyst

About the role

As a Tax Analyst you will support CSI’s tax compliance and reporting across corporate income, sales and use, property, and other tax disciplines. You will work with a collaborative team to ensure accurate, timely filings and contribute to research, audits, and process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare corporate income tax workpapers, extension calculations, and quarterly estimates.
• Assist with year‑end tax compliance and file federal, state, and local returns (sales & use, personal property, net profit, etc.).
• Research tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Support tax audits and respond to governmental agency requests.
• Reconcile tax‑related accrual and balance‑sheet accounts.
• Identify tax credit, exemption, and process‑improvement opportunities.
• Communicate tax matters with internal departments and external agencies.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Adobe, Workday, and Avalara for data gathering and filing.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of relevant tax experience (2 years preferred).
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
• CPA certification is a plus, not required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑oriented mindset with capacity to work independently.
• Curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn new systems.
