Tax Advisory Manager

About the role

Ferrero is seeking a Tax Advisory Manager with at least five years of tax consulting experience to support a variety of federal, state, and international tax matters. Reporting to the Head of North America Area Tax, the role offers exposure to complex tax issues and the chance to contribute to process improvements and strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support to internal teams on federal, state, and international tax matters.
• Research, analyze, and interpret tax laws, regulations, and guidance.
• Prepare technical tax analyses, memoranda, and reports.
• Assist with tax planning initiatives and transaction‑related support.
• Identify tax risks, opportunities, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to understand business and tax needs.
• Communicate technical tax concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Contribute to presentations, dashboards, and governance documentation.
• Support project planning, tracking, and coordination for tax initiatives.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects and strategic initiatives as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (master’s in taxation/international taxation a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant tax experience, preferably in a Big‑4 consulting or professional services environment.
• Strong understanding of tax concepts and technical research skills.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders and managing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with excellent communication skills.
