Tax Accountant

About the role

The Tax Accountant supports the Company’s tax compliance, reporting, and planning across multiple U.S. locations. You will lead the quarterly and annual deferred tax reporting process, coordinate with external advisors on federal and state income tax matters, and ensure sales and use tax compliance for all operating entities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740.
• Calculate and maintain deferred tax assets and liabilities, including supporting schedules.
• Prepare quarterly 1042 forms, coordinate payments, and manage tax‑related journal entries.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors to gather data, review tax returns, and ensure accurate filing.
• Monitor state tax nexus, manage registrations, and maintain compliance with state income, franchise, and gross receipts taxes.
• Perform periodic reviews of sales and use tax compliance, address exposures, and support audits.
• Review production allowance calculations and ensure proper documentation.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax regulations.
• Experience with ASC 740 and tax provision preparation.
• Ability to analyze temporary and permanent differences between book and tax reporting.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and documentation skills.
