Tasting Room Associate / Server

About the role

The Tasting Room Associate supports Booker Wines’ tasting room operations, welcoming guests, sharing the winery story, and ensuring a clean, well‑stocked environment. You will work directly with customers, guide wine tastings, and help promote sales of wine, events, and tours.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the tasting room for opening and closing, including cleaning and stocking supplies.
• Present, pour, and educate guests on selected wines while leading tours.
• Maintain cleanliness of the facility and ensure all inventory (wine and non‑wine) is stocked.
• Operate the POS and WineDirect interfaces accurately and efficiently.
• Actively promote wine sales, events, and tours to members.
• Communicate with servers, bussers, and hosts to coordinate service.

Required profile

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to work in a team, multitask, and handle weekends and holidays.
• Friendly, approachable, and self‑motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Detail‑oriented, coachable, and able to manage changing priorities.
• Interest or experience in wine or the wine industry is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS systems.
• Experience using the WineDirect interface.
