Tanks Project Manager

About the role

Bechtel Energy is seeking a Tanks Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of LNG tank and other field‑erected tank projects on the U.S. Gulf Coast. The role is based at one of the Gulf Coast sites with regular travel to other job sites and the Houston office.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle: planning, engineering, procurement, construction, start‑up, initial operations and contract close‑out.
• Develop and control budgets and schedules, monitor performance, and report progress to ensure objectives are met on time and within budget.
• Oversee contractual commitments, maintain a trend program, and process change orders and claims promptly.
• Resolve technical and operational issues and coordinate final turnover of tank scope to the customer.
• Provide leadership to build and maintain a high‑performance project team.
• Lead project and customer meetings to facilitate communication, review progress, and address concerns.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing LNG tank or field‑erected tank projects.
• Strong background in construction project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and interact effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
