Tank Survey Engineer

About the role
Bechtel is seeking a Tank Survey Engineer to support the construction of the Rio Grande LNG (RGLNG) project in Brownsville, Texas. The position provides both field and office support to the tanks construction team, ensuring accurate layout, data collection, and coordination throughout the project.
Key responsibilities
- Provide support to the Tanks Construction Team.
- Coordinate field work with Tanks Field Engineers.
- Lead the field survey team in implementing safety, quality, and environmental programs.
- Accurately layout construction work and record field data according to job specifications.
- Interpret design drawings and specifications to determine commodity and equipment locations.
- Perform duties of a Party Chief as required on site.
Required profile
- Ability to interpret design drawings and specifications for tank construction.
- Experience leading a field survey team in a construction environment.
- Strong coordination skills with field engineers and construction personnel.
