Talent Acquisition Manager, Operations and Strategy
Fairstead ESC LLC · New York
Job description
About the role
Fairstead, a real estate firm focused on affordable housing, is hiring a full-cycle recruiter who will also build and run the recruiting process for its property management division. You will start by recruiting for the most critical and hard-to-fill roles, then design and automate the process and tools, and eventually lead a small recruiting team.
Key responsibilities
- Run full-cycle recruiting for property management roles, from site and community teams up through regional and portfolio positions.
- Source and close high-performing talent, define what a high performer looks like per role and market, and advise hiring managers and regional leaders on hiring strategy.
- Design and implement a scalable, increasingly automated recruiting process from requisition to offer, and evaluate and implement recruiting technology (ATS, sourcing tools, scheduling automation, workflow tools).
- Build repeatable workflows for high-volume, high-turnover roles (leasing, maintenance, community management) and more selective processes for senior hires.
- Create reporting and metrics (pipeline health, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, cost-per-hire, quality-of-hire) and document the process so it can run consistently across markets.
- Keep the process running day-to-day, refine workflows, and make the case for further automation.
- As volume grows, make the case for and potentially hire, onboard and lead additional recruiters or coordinators.
Required profile
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally with high-volume or multi-site hiring.
- Track record of building or overhauling a recruiting process or tech stack yourself.
- Comfort with data: able to build and read recruiting dashboards and make decisions from them.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, influencing regional and site-level leaders who do not report to you.
- Understanding of how recruiting needs differ across geographic markets.
Required skills
- Hands-on experience with an ATS; direct experience with Greenhouse is a strong plus.
- Working knowledge of sourcing, scheduling and workflow-automation tools.
- Nice to have: Workday, AI-powered sourcing/screening/scheduling tools, leading an ATS/HRIS implementation, recruiting across a large multi-state footprint, and leading a small recruiting team.
Salary range: $130,000-$160,000 USD.
