Systems Integration and Testing Manager

About the role

Sandvik’s Rotary Drilling Division in Alachua, FL is seeking a Systems Integration and Testing Manager to lead the integration of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and software subsystems on its rotary drill rigs and to oversee comprehensive system‑level testing.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate integration of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and PLC‑based control subsystems for new and existing drill products.
• Develop and execute system‑level test strategies, including lab tests and field trials at mine sites.
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team, setting priorities and ensuring project milestones are met.
• Oversee troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and resolution of cross‑domain issues.
• Maintain compliance with Sandvik’s safety, quality and IMS standards (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018) and Zero Harm practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in system integration and testing environments.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and software interfaces.
• Ability to manage complex projects and drive continuous improvement.
• Commitment to safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
