Systems Engineer

About the role

Sandvik is seeking a Systems Engineer to join its Rotary Drilling Division in Alachua, Florida. The role focuses on leveraging data analytics and low‑code applications to improve manufacturing efficiency and support SAP implementation across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and integrate data from Lean ERP, SharePoint, QuickBase, Salesforce and other sources.
• Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards and apps for management decision‑making.
• Create, document and deploy QuickBase applications to automate internal processes.
• Support SAP readiness, implementation and related system integrations on‑site.
• Manage statistical metadata, assess data quality and handle confidential information responsibly.
• Design mechanisms for exploring structured, semi‑structured and unstructured data, and commission or decommission datasets as needed.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities, translate operational requirements into system designs, and assist functional leaders during change‑management activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Ability to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship.
• 6‑10 years of experience in systems engineering, ERP, or digital transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of production planning, inventory management, supply‑chain and financial data flows.
