Systems Engineer IV – Semiconductor Capital Equipment

About the role

As a Systems Engineer you will design, integrate, and optimize complex semiconductor capital equipment systems that enable advanced AI and next‑generation chips. The role involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams to develop specifications, conduct testing, and ensure high‑quality, reliable solutions for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Own system‑level requirements, architecture, and performance for assigned tool subsystems and assemblies.
• Lead system integration, trade studies, and design reviews to meet reliability, manufacturability, and serviceability goals.
• Drive technical decision‑making across mechanical, electrical, software, manufacturing, and supply‑chain teams.
• Lead root‑cause analysis for field and factory issues and define corrective and preventive actions.
• Support new product introduction from concept through qualification, release, and field ramp.
• Partner with manufacturing and supply chain to enable scalable production and smooth ramp.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Systems, Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in systems engineering, product development, or semiconductor capital equipment.
• Strong background in complex electro‑mechanical systems and system integration.
• Proven experience leading root‑cause investigations and reliability improvements.
• Ability to operate independently on ambiguous, high‑impact problems.
