Systems Engineer III – Enterprise Storage & Cloud

About the role

We are looking for a senior Systems Engineer to join our Data Management Team. You will help design, operate, and continuously improve enterprise‑wide storage, backup, and hybrid cloud infrastructure that protects critical business data.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic input to project plans, schedules, and methodologies for storage, backup/recovery, and cloud environments.
• Monitor system alerts and respond quickly to storage, backup, and data‑protection incidents.
• Diagnose complex issues across on‑premises arrays, SAN fabric, and cloud services.
• Support change‑management triage and contribute to operational‑excellence initiatives.
• Collaborate with the team to drive automation, reporting, and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience with enterprise storage and backup solutions.
• Strong understanding of hybrid cloud storage and ransomware resilience.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize incidents, and communicate technical findings.
• Experience supporting large, mission‑critical environments.

Required skills

• Dell Unity, PowerStore, PowerScale, PowerVault platforms
• Commvault, Avamar, Data Domain (including immutable/WORM storage)
• Fiber Channel SAN fabric, zoning, cabling
• AWS and Azure storage/backup services
• Bash, Python, Terraform scripting
• Monitoring and reporting tools for infrastructure health
