Systems Architect – POSIX (Vehicle OS)

About the role

As a POSIX Solutions Architect on the Vehicle OS team, you will lead the creation of a universal software foundation that enables automakers to deliver next‑generation vehicle intelligence at scale. You will work across POSIX operating systems, middleware, and hardware layers to ensure seamless integration and rapid deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain POSIX‑based middleware and embedded software from the application layer down to the hardware abstraction layer.
• Design efficient, deterministic solutions for distributed and embedded engineering challenges.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, automotive, and embedded systems engineers to ship mission‑critical software.
• Work hands‑on with Linux, QNX, VxWorks and modern service‑oriented communication frameworks.
• Contribute to new products, features, and tools that meet strict performance, scalability, and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in embedded software development focused on POSIX‑based operating systems.
• Proven track record designing scalable, modular middleware frameworks.
