Systems and Network Engineer

About the role

The Systems and Network Engineer will maintain JM Murray’s infrastructure, ensuring reliable network and server operations across all locations. This full‑time position focuses on implementing solutions, monitoring performance, and supporting IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Manage Windows Server operating systems and related services.
• Maintain virtualization platforms and supporting hardware.
• Support enterprise systems such as Active Directory, file servers, and messaging.
• Apply system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
• Monitor system health, performance, and security alerts.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues across multiple sites.
• Document network diagrams and configuration records.
• Assist with infrastructure upgrades, deployments, and integration of new technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Network Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in systems administration or network engineering.
