Systems Administrator (Mon-Fri 11am-8pm EST Shift)

About the role

This position is a senior escalation point within a fast‑paced managed services environment. Based in the United States, you will provide remote support for multi‑tenant client infrastructures covering cloud, networking, and on‑premise systems during a Monday‑to‑Friday, 11 AM‑8 PM EST shift.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver advanced remote support for escalated incidents and service requests across servers, networks, and workstations.
• Perform in‑depth troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and documentation of complex technical issues.
• Communicate clearly with clients via phone, email, and chat, managing expectations and providing status updates.
• Utilize system tools, vendor utilities, and PowerShell scripting to diagnose and resolve problems efficiently.
• Support and maintain Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra, Microsoft 365, Exchange, Intune, and SharePoint environments.
• Monitor recurring issues, contribute to problem management, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with internal teams to raise service quality and operational standards.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or managed services.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Windows Server and enterprise Microsoft platforms.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (Layer 2/3, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, NAT, VPN).
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
