Systems Administrator – Managed Services

About the role

This position supports a fast‑paced managed‑services environment, providing advanced technical assistance for multi‑tenant IT infrastructures across a diverse client base in the United States. The role requires strong hands‑on expertise with Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, networking and security tools, as well as excellent client communication.

Key responsibilities

• Handle escalated incidents across servers, networks, endpoints and cloud environments, ensuring timely diagnosis and resolution.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for complex infrastructure issues.
• Maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Exchange and Intune environments.
• Troubleshoot networking components such as DNS, DHCP, VLANs, NAT and VPN configurations.
• Apply endpoint security, backup, disaster‑recovery and patch‑management best practices.
• Develop and run PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve resolution speed.
• Document actions, contribute to knowledge bases and support continuous service‑improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with leadership on operational enhancements.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of IT support or systems‑administration experience, preferably in an MSP or enterprise environment.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (Layer 2/3, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN).
• Familiarity with endpoint security, backup solutions and patch‑management platforms.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Excellent troubleshooting, incident‑management and change‑control skills.
