Systems Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Systems Administrator to join our team at Fred Alger & Company, LLC. The successful candidate will provide day‑to‑day technical support for all users and maintain the firm’s technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for hardware, software, and network issues across the organization.
• Maintain and troubleshoot servers, workstations, and peripheral devices.
• Assist with user account management, access permissions, and security policies.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement system upgrades and improvements.
• Document procedures, incidents, and resolutions to build a knowledge base.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in supporting end‑users and managing IT systems.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
