Systems Administrator

About the role

The Systems Administrator will manage and modernize Kuraray America's hybrid IT environment, spanning on‑premises infrastructure, Microsoft cloud services, and end‑user platforms. This role ensures reliable, secure, and high‑performing technology for both corporate and manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Administer servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, network devices, and related business applications.
• Configure and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file/print services.
• Support Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 suite (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Intune).
• Maintain hybrid connectivity between on‑premises infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Monitor system health, capacity, performance, availability, and compliance.
• Manage endpoint lifecycle, including provisioning and security updates.

Required profile

• Proven experience administering Windows‑based server environments.
• Strong understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and Microsoft cloud services.
• Ability to work collaboratively with global IT teams, vendors, and managed service providers.
• Commitment to maintaining system stability, security, and performance.
