Systems Administrator

About the role

Our client is looking for a hands‑on Systems Administrator to manage a modern Microsoft‑based environment. The role involves day‑to‑day IT operations, cloud administration, endpoint management, and participation in technical projects.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and support business systems, hardware, software, cloud services and enterprise applications.
• Administer Microsoft 365, including Entra ID user and group management, licensing and access controls.
• Configure, deploy and support endpoint devices via Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
• Support Azure services, networking, storage and other cloud resources.
• Monitor system performance and infrastructure health, proactively resolving issues.
• Assist with cybersecurity initiatives, endpoint protection, identity management and security monitoring.
• Partner with external technology providers and managed service partners to ensure effective service delivery and coordinate issue resolution.
• Participate in IT infrastructure, security and business technology projects, gathering requirements and supporting implementation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on IT administration, systems support or infrastructure experience.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 environments and managing Entra ID (Azure AD) identities.
• Proven ability to manage devices and policies through Microsoft Intune.
• Familiarity with Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
• Experience working with third‑party vendors and managed service providers.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems or related field (preferred).
• Relevant certifications such as MS‑102, SC‑300, AZ‑104, AZ‑900, MD‑102, CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ or ITIL (preferred).
