Systems Administrator

About the role

We are partnering with a stable, growing manufacturing company that needs a Systems Administrator to own and support its Microsoft‑based IT infrastructure. You will ensure the reliability, security and performance of critical systems while contributing to modernization projects in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Microsoft Intune and Windows Server environments.
• Support physical and virtual server infrastructure, including Hyper‑V hosts.
• Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, network and system issues.
• Administer user accounts, permissions, access controls and security policies.
• Troubleshoot and maintain network‑connected devices such as switches, printers and storage systems.
• Assist with infrastructure upgrades, system migrations and technology improvement initiatives.
• Monitor system performance, security and compliance, applying IT best practices.
• Develop and maintain documentation, procedures and knowledge‑base resources.
• Utilize PowerShell and automation tools to streamline administration tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4–8 years of experience supporting Microsoft infrastructure (Entra ID, Intune, AD, Windows Server).
• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial or distribution environment is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving and communication skills.
