Systems Administrator – Internal IT

About the role

ACES Quality Management is looking for a hands‑on Systems Administrator to own day‑to‑day internal IT for its fully remote SaaS business. You will manage Microsoft 365, JumpCloud, endpoint devices, and support security initiatives such as SOC 2 compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute projects that automate IT operations and improve back‑office systems.
• Configure, maintain, monitor, and support employee endpoints, internal systems, and SaaS applications.
• Operate IT security controls including patch management, endpoint security/EDR, MFA enforcement, and periodic access reviews.
• Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues for remote employees.
• Handle onboarding/off‑boarding, hardware procurement, imaging, shipping, and returns, maintaining a small laptop inventory.
• Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and asset inventory while adhering to change‑management policies.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on Windows endpoint and server administration.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Proficiency in a scripting language such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Familiarity with SAML/SSO integrations (JumpCloud, Okta, Entra ID).
• Experience with a UEM/RMM solution (Microsoft Intune, NinjaOne).
