Systems Administrator – Azure & Identity Management (12+ month contract)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to join our client’s IT team in Tallahassee on a 12‑month fixed‑term assignment (with possible extension). The role focuses on Azure identity services, single sign‑on solutions and overall systems administration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop specifications, project plans and manage overall project delivery.
• Provide weekly status updates and monthly written reports to leadership and stakeholders.
• Communicate progress to sponsors, legislative bodies and technical teams.
• Ensure adherence to technical standards and documentation requirements.
• Manage project risk, change control and obtain sponsor approvals for scope, budget or schedule changes.
• Document testing procedures and verify modifications before deployment.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Azure IAM, Azure B2B/B2C and Azure B2C IEF.
• Strong knowledge of SAML, OAuth, OIDC and SSO solutions.
• Experience in web‑application server administration, monitoring and performance tuning.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPoint).
• Project‑management and change‑management experience, preferably in state‑government environments.
• Bachelor’s degree and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
