System Engineer – Wet Equipment

About the role

As a Systems Engineer you will design, integrate, and optimize complex semiconductor equipment that drives the industry forward. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to translate process requirements into robust wet‑processing solutions and ensure seamless subsystem integration.

Key responsibilities

• Define requirements for wet processing tools such as cleaning, wet etch, and surface preparation.
• Translate process needs into detailed equipment specifications and conduct vendor benchmarking.
• Evaluate tool performance, footprint, throughput, and facility constraints.
• Collaborate with process, facilities, and integration teams to identify gaps and drive solutions.
• Analyze system requirements, create architectures, conduct testing, and mitigate risks to meet quality standards.

Required profile

• BS/MS in Mechanical, Chemical, or Systems Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with semiconductor processing equipment.
• Strong knowledge of wet processing systems and chemical handling.
• Experience in tool selection and vendor engagement.
• Preferred experience in advanced packaging or wafer‑level substrate processing.
