System Administrator – Windows & VMware

About the role

The System Administrator will join our IT team to maintain and administer the company’s networked computer environment. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on ensuring optimal performance, stability, and security of all hardware, software, and networking components.

Key responsibilities

• Support and maintain VMware ESX infrastructure and Windows Server (2019, 2022) environments.
• Manage Veeam Backup & Replication, perform data backups and disaster‑recovery operations.
• Administer core server services such as DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP and Active Directory, including user accounts, rights, and security groups.
• Maintain and troubleshoot servers, workstations, printers, and SAN storage technology.
• Support the internal 3CX VoIP system, handling user changes and troubleshooting via the admin console.
• Monitor TCP/IP networking, perform server optimization and hardening, and resolve tier‑1 to tier‑3 tickets.
• Provide day‑to‑day support for client/server/storage devices, mobile devices, and conference equipment.
• Document system operations, maintain hardware/software inventories, and assist in training new and existing staff.
• Participate in after‑hours planned downtime or emergency response as needed.
