System Administrator – Swing Shift (2pm‑10pm)

About the role

Five Rivers Analytics is seeking an experienced System Administrator to work the swing shift (2 pm‑10 pm) in Colorado Springs. You will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of infrastructure components, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across the environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and administer Operational Switch Replacement (OSR) systems, WAN Interface Functions, NetApp, EMS, SolarWinds, VMware, LogRhythm, and encryption devices.
• Manage network infrastructure including VPNs, routers, switches, and firewalls; install and configure network equipment.
• Develop and deploy ANETS VMware solutions, apply OS patches, service packs, and security updates.
• Provide client/server architecture support, monitor system/application performance, and conduct integration testing for endpoint security software.
• Administer Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for network access control.
• Perform system backups, data recovery, and recommend hardware/software upgrades based on growth forecasts.
• Document procedures, manage accounts, and coordinate with users and other technical staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5‑7 years of hands‑on system administration experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and lead complex issue resolution.
