System Administrator – Remote & Onsite Support

About the role

The System Engineer/Administrator provides both remote and onsite technical support to a diverse client base, ranging from small offices to large multi‑site networks. You will deliver high‑quality customer service, lead projects, and act as a key escalation point for complex issues.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and support client networks, including computers, servers, switches, routers, firewalls and specialty equipment.
• Support Microsoft server solutions on‑premise and in the cloud, handling varying complexity and uptime requirements.
• Maintain server‑based software such as Microsoft business products, Azure integrations and backup solutions.
• Open, review, resolve, manage and close support tickets.
• Provide assistance via onsite visits, remote system access, telephone or online sessions.
• Participate in technology delivery projects as a support specialist or project lead.
• Collaborate with team members for knowledge exchange and contribute to service improvements.
• Train end users on computers, servers and network resources.

Required profile

• At least one Microsoft certification related to server technologies or an associate‑level degree.
• Advanced experience with Windows Server (2016 or later) and Active Directory environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure/Entra and hybrid on‑premise/cloud setups.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Business, Office 2021 and Windows 11 (24H2) in domain environments.
• Strong workstation and network troubleshooting skills and a solid understanding of IP networking.
• Professional demeanor, excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
