System Administrator

About the role
The organization seeks a System Administrator to provide operational, project and initiative support for enterprise IT systems. The role involves handling service requests, incident response, routine maintenance, and identifying opportunities to reduce technical debt.
Key responsibilities
- Operate, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot corporate servers and IT services across local and remote sites.
- Determine system requirements, design solutions, and install or integrate new hardware and software.
- Monitor system performance, respond to incidents and outages, and ensure system security and compliance.
- Collaborate with IT Architects to design, implement, and continuously improve infrastructure.
Required profile
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems/Industrial Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of systems administration experience.
- Strong written and oral communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
Required skills
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as PowerShell and SQL.
- Deep knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux) and computer networking fundamentals.
- Experience with disaster recovery procedures and monitoring tools.
- Understanding of IT service management (ITSM) principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity and privacy best practices.
