System Administrator – Infrastructure & Operations (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned System Administrator to join a technology‑driven enterprise environment. The role is fully remote within the United States and focuses on maintaining and evolving a global IT ecosystem that includes end‑user systems, core infrastructure, and cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Support Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and user provisioning.
• Manage Azure AD/Entra ID and hybrid identity solutions.
• Oversee patch management, endpoint compliance, and security tools such as Zscaler and Proofpoint.
• Configure and troubleshoot VoIP solutions (e.g., 8x8, Teams Voice).
• Assist with network services including DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall coordination.
• Maintain virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper‑V) and backup solutions (Veeam or similar).
• Participate in data‑center operations, disaster recovery, and documentation improvement.
• Act as escalation point for Tier 2/3 help‑desk issues.

Required profile

• 5+ years of Windows‑focused system administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure AD/identity management.
• Familiarity with VoIP platforms and basic networking concepts.
• Experience with security, virtualization, and backup technologies.
