System Administrator I

About the role

The System Administrator I will work independently under general supervision to maintain the integrity, performance, and security of workstations and servers for JLTCCT and MCIS. This position supports daily IT operations, conducts audits, and participates in special projects as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Implement standard software and hardware solutions to ensure data integrity.
• Maintain computer performance and security to meet network user needs.
• Conduct hardware and software audits of workstations and servers for compliance.
• Stay current with assigned technology and participate in special projects.
• Perform other related tasks assigned by the Lead.

Required profile

• Minimum BA or BS in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of experience in information systems design and management.
• Three years of experience as a System Administrator (can substitute for degree).
• Three years of experience analyzing and designing business applications for large‑scale or mid‑tier systems.
• Possession of a SECRET security clearance.
