System Administrator – Command and Control (C2)

About the role

Entarian seeks experienced System Administrators to support the Command and Control (C2) environment for the U.S. Pacific Fleet’s Data Fusion Center. The role ensures continuous operation, security, and technical supervision of mission‑critical C2 systems and network services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide system administration, integration, and application support for DFC mission systems including LMMT, C2BMC, Radiant Mercury, and AIS.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for CPF to DFC program offices and manage system asset life‑cycles.
• Design, maintain, and support a virtualized server farm for CPF N63, delivering on‑site assistance to users.
• Apply patches, upgrades, and configuration changes to maintain the security posture of STACC instances.
• Perform regular backups, disaster‑recovery testing, and enforce DoD security policies.
• Collaborate with N6 staff, Information Assurance coordinators, and network administrators to ensure compliance and functionality.
• Support shift work and extended exercise periods to guarantee system uptime.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mission‑critical system administration within a defense or military environment.
• Ability to work on‑site at COMPACFLT and adapt to shift/contingency schedules.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and capacity to train technical staff.
• Familiarity with DoD security standards and asset management processes.

• Windows 10/11 administration
• Red Hat Linux administration
• Virtualization technologies for server farms
• Core network protocols (TCP/IP), LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers
• System backup, disaster‑recovery, and patch management
• Experience with LMMT, C2BMC, Radiant Mercury, and AIS mission systems
