System Administrator – Azure & Microsoft 365

About the role

As a Systems Administrator you will support Beryllium’s Cuick Trac Managed Enclave and guide clients through their CMMC and NIST 800‑171 compliance journeys. You will work closely with a skilled technical team to manage Azure cloud infrastructure, troubleshoot user issues, and ensure optimal performance and security of our systems.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and maintain Azure infrastructure components such as Virtual Machines, virtual networks, firewall policies and virtual disks.
• Manage Azure resource groups, subscriptions and governance policies to ensure efficient use and compliance.
• Install and secure operating systems on Azure VMs and manage Azure Disk and Microsoft 365 backup solutions.
• Administer Azure Host Pools, Microsoft Intune, Azure Entra ID and other virtualized environments.
• Support Microsoft 365 Office suite, SharePoint and Windows File Server environments.
• Provide tier‑2/3 support via service‑desk calls, ticket handling and incident response.
• Collaborate with internal security, compliance and development teams and with clients to optimize configurations.
• Assist in implementing NIST 800‑171, NIST 800‑53 and FedRAMP Moderate controls and maintain ITIL‑based service management practices.
