Surgical Technician – Sign-on Bonus

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Surgical Technician to join the TOSH (Theatre Operating Suite) team. This full‑time position offers a sign‑on bonus and varied shift work in a fast‑paced operating‑room environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment for procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field and assist the surgical team throughout operations.
• Monitor inventory of supplies and ensure timely restocking.
• Transport patients safely to and from the operating room.
• Document instrument counts and assist with postoperative cleanup.

Required profile

• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.

Required skills

• Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterile processing techniques.
• Familiarity with operating‑room protocols and equipment handling.
