About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Surgical Technician to join its Clinical Staff – Medical Ancillary Support team. This temporary, fixed‑term position provides hands‑on support in surgical suites, contributing to high‑quality patient care within a collaborative health‑care environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical support as a Surgical Technician within UAMS operating rooms.
• Assist with instrument preparation, sterilization, and handling during surgical procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field and follow established safety protocols.

Required profile

• Must be authorized to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Current University of Arkansas System employees, including student employees and graduate assistants, are encouraged to apply through Workday.
