Support Specialist – Delivery Operations (Part‑Time)

About the role

On Deck Deliveries is looking for motivated Support Specialists to ensure timely, safe and customer‑focused delivery services. As a key member of the operations team, you will handle loading, unloading, assembly, installation and provide top‑level service to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks while protecting items from damage.
• Scan inbound and outbound items to keep inventory accurate.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe warehouse environment.
• Assist drivers on delivery routes, especially on Saturdays, and guide navigation.
• Manage debris and keep work areas hazard‑free.
• Coordinate with dispatch for pre‑call tracking and smooth operations.
• Prepare deliveries, verify item accuracy and conduct pre‑ and post‑job checks.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve concerns promptly.

Required profile

• 21 years of age or older and authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Pass background check, MVR, DOT physical and drug screen.
• Ability to safely lift and maneuver items weighing 100+ lb.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Minimum two years of delivery experience.
• Own a smartphone and be comfortable using routing and electronic proof‑of‑delivery tools.
• Commitment to ongoing training and process improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency with smartphone routing applications.
• Experience using electronic proof of delivery (POD) systems.
